Ali Abbas,

Ali Abbas, a renowned artist, has been honored with the prestigious Pakistan civil award Tamgha-i-Imtiaz for his outstanding contributions to the field of art. His accolades include a Gold medal from Spain and numerous awards from countries like the U.K., Italy, Hong Kong, Thailand, and more. Abbas curated the international watercolor biennale "Pearls of Peace" and has authored thirteen watercolor books.

Recognized as a master in watercolor, Abbas has served on juries, conducted workshops, and exhibited his work globally. He's been likened to revered artists like Abdul Rehman Chugtai, Ustad Allah bux, Rembrandt Van Rijn, and John Singer Sargent. His sculptures in Hyderabad have become emblematic of the city.

Abbas's passion for watercolor led him to innovate techniques, focusing on themes like the Thar desert and Sufism. His unique portrayal of Sufi life in Sindh marks him as a pioneering artist. With over 30 years of teaching experience, he currently holds a senior faculty position at MUET, Jamshoro, Pakistan.
